Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and me that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.

Is it strange that I love Chrissy Teigan? I'm looking forward to this one. I might even cook something out of it!

I need some more Sarah Addison Allen in my life.

A Manual For Cleaning Women by Lucia Berlin

I'd never heard of Lucia Berlin. I choose A Manual For Cleaning Women to fulfill "Read a collection of short stories by a woman" for the Read Harder challenge. But I'm glad I did.  Her stories were bold, heart-breaking, and gorgeous. So much pain and heartache. I don't have too much to say about this one other than A Manual For Cleaning Women will stay with me for a long time.

I've heard good things about this one.

I got this one for the Read Harder challenge (read a book set with a 100 miles from your location). I've wanted to read it for years but never have.

Reloot.

I'll probably never read Asher's Thirteen Reasons Why. It sounds so depressing. But I'll try this one.

Interesting sounding graphic novel.

March Goals Tally

Prepare to do something physically challenging in 2018. I went to the doc, got some ankle exercises, and some inserts for my shoes. My ankles feel a lot better. But haven't really done much physical other than walking.

Be able to park my car in the garage by December 31, 2017. Made almost no progress here.

Add yoga back into my life at least once a week. I went to yoga once this month. It was a busy month and I struggled to go back.

One hour a day without technology (no phone, no computer, no tv). Still doing good here.

Add more art into my life. Making plans to go to more art museums but nothing concrete.

Get back to meal planning. We switched to Home Chef which helps tremendously.

Take more pictures. Still sucking at this.

I was a fan of Jordan's YA series. Looking forward to her adult romance.

Real Life Reading introduced me to Changes. It seems way out of my comfort level but I'm willing to try.

An LGBT retelling of The Great Gatsby? Sign me up.
