Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!

I read about this one on Shelf Talk (although the post I saw it on seems to have disappeared). I'm woefully behind on the Western genre challenge and I thought I might like this one set on the Oregon Trail.
This is one is on my Fill In The Gaps Challenge.
This one caught my eye on the shelf. I'm hoping it's full of interesting tips.

What did you get this week?

  3. Enjoy your loot, Linda! No cookbooks? ;)

My daughter read A People's History of The United States this year as required reading for American History Honors AP class in high school.

  4. I was never a Western fan until I started reading Annie Proulx's short stories...yup, now I can't get enough. ALSO! I forgot to come over here and mention that I finished Jeanne Baret--reviewed it here on my site: http://forgottenbeast.wordpress.com/2012/02/26/book-15-2/

So thanks again for the free (and interesting!) book.
