Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!

Sniff, the last in the Parasol Protectorate series.
I finally gave in to the peer pressure. Can you believe I've never read The Giver?
After reading Olduvai's review of this one, I knew I had to add it to my queue. I think Tai and I might both like it.

What did you get this week?

  2. Oh, The Giver. One of my favorite young adult books that most adults should read, too.

I read The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms last year and enjoyed it immensely. I still have to get to the 2nd and 3rd books in the series, though!

    Happy reading!

  3. Always sad to come to the end of a series. Enjoy your loot!

  4. Yay for The Giver! I read it in middle school, loved it, and reread it as an adult and loved it even more! The sequel is different, but good. I still need to read the third one!

  5. I didn't read the Giver until college. And when I finally did I loved it. I do think I would have enjoyed it growing up, but also thing I got more out of it reading it when I was older.
