Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and me that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.

After a successful readathon, I thought my reading mojo had returned. Sadly it did not. I'm choosing to play Hearthstone and not read every night. I keep hoping I'll get over my Hearthstone addiction but sadly not yet. I haven't finished a book since the last Library loot. I'm still picking up new books but I'm choosing to play my game rather than read. Hopefully I'll make more time to do both.

Anyhoo, here's what I picked up this week.
I've been a fan of Brashares' other books so I wanted to try her latest.

I read Roses a few years ago. When I saw Somerset on the shelf, I jumped at the chance to read more by Meacham.

What did you get this week? Claire's got the linky!

  1. Two books I really want to read! :D I haven't acquired new books form the library fro a while due to my own little reading funk I have been having, well that and the fact that I have a lot from previous loots that I still need to read. I hope you get out of your funk, but in the meantime just enjoy your game! :)

  2. Ooh! Somerset looks really good and I'm not familiar with the author at all. I could really use some good historical fiction that is not too much work but also not regencyland.

  3. Don't know either of these but the covers are gorgeous. Enjoy!

  5. I haven't read either one of these but did love Roses and everything I've read by Ann Brashers, so of course I'm hoping to get to these eventually as well.
