Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva and Marg that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!
So much loot, I need to take two pictures to get it all in! Starting at the top books 1,2,&4 (Book 3 is still on hold at the library) of The Walking Dead. Tai might have read all these. I'm not sure. He put them back in the tbr pile after looking at them so I assume not. And 2 more Ex Machina for Tai as well. Not sure what number in the series they are but (Smoke Smoke and Power Down in case you need to know). Next on the bottom left is Children of the Mind, the next in the Ender's Game series for Tai. He was not a fan of Xenocide so I hope this one is a better read from him. And lastly, Best Friends Forever, the new Jennifer Weiner book. I have high hopes for this one!
What did you get this week?
My son loves the Walking Dead series!! I just received Jennifer Weiner's book in the mail yesterday. Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks good :D
ReplyDeleteHm did I ever read that Weiner book I meant to read...should check that
Don't know much about the Walking Dead series but it looks...well...coooool! (Sorry, lately, I've been channeling Kevin from The Office.) I'll be honest I got stuck at Speaker for The Dead in the Ender's Game series, but have skipped ahead to read some of the Ender book: Ender's Shadow, etc.
ReplyDeleteI got a bit bored with Ex Machina.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, you only need to read Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead, the rest isn't worth it. Well, I suppose if you want to complete the series. That's the only reason I stuck with Xenocide and Children of the Mind.
I've only read one book by Jennifer Weiner but I did enjoy it. Enjoy your finds :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think that I have read any of those authors before! Fun library loot!
