Last week I took a couple of days off work. I think it's criminal to work on your birthday if you don't have to. I headed to Pioneer Square to meet Ashley for lunch at Salumi but I had sometime to kill. The Waterfall Garden is around the corner so I froze my butt off for a bit. But I think it was worth it to get some fabulous pictures of the best places in Seattle.
I love finding the unexpected in the ordinary. Pioneer Square isn't a place I regularly go to much but when I do I make it a point to see my favorite waterfall.
The pictures are really lovely! I agree, it should be against the law to work on your birthday. I often get off because mine is right around Memorial Day, but this past year it was Tuesday after so I had to work. Booo.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a faithful reading and keeping me on your blogroll!

That is awesome. I think you live in a very cool city...one that I would love to explore someday!!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I love hidden little treasures in urban settings. When I lived in San Diego I loved to walk around Balboa Park...it felt like being in the country, but it was downtown San Diego!
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty! But it looks so cold!!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for braving it for us!
Sorry I've been MIA so long. Just been sorting through some things I can't really get into on my blog.
Beautiful! I love it when nature is repeated in urban areas.
ReplyDeleteI love that place! I try to go back every time I go back there every time I get up there!!!
