Ok, I totally trust Andrew to get some truly awesome shots, but when you look at wedding photos all day, you get things stuck in your mind. I'm going to make a short must take list for Andrew. I thought I'd break this up so this will be a mini series.
We'll start with rings.
From Photobucket. The obligatory rings on that day's newspaper. I have to do this. I love it for some bizzare reason.
From knottie VegasSept07 . The rings on the marriage license. Also a great shot.
From Kate McElwee. The rings on the program or invitation. I really like this one too. It's a close second to the newspaper shot.
From Kate McElwee. This one was from a Trash the Dress session in Hawaii. Rings in the sand are perfect for that locale.
From Our One Heart. So cheesy, but I love it anyway. Tai and I are huge readers so this is perfect. Plus look what book it is!
From Whitebox Wedding. This is perfect for our outdoor wedding!
What are some of your must have ring shots?
I hadn't really thought about ring shots until now.... but now that you mention it I like the rings on top of the day's paper. Or the invitation. Both are great. I'll have to remember this for my wedding!!
ReplyDeleteThe shot I'd really like to get, especially since we're not seeing each other before, is a shot where the photographer can see each of us on either side of a door. We can't see each other, but we'll both be in the pic. Kind of corny, but I think it's cute.
I love the one on the newspaper, that's really cool. I have one ring picture that's really special to me. Both of my grandmothers passed away years ago, so I wore their engagement rings on my right hand on my wedding day. The photographer took this picture of my mom holding the two rings. It's one of my favorite pictures.
ReplyDeleteThe really cool thing, which you can't tell, is that the ring on the left (my maternal grandmother's) had a sapphire in the middle. And technically both rings belong to my mom now. So they were old, borrowed, AND blue. Pretty much everything else I wore was new, so I was totally covered. :-)
(Actually, now that you gave me an excuse to go digging through my own wedding pictures, this is probably a better ring picture. But that first black & white picture is really special to me for some reason.)
