Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!

I had some fun this week choosing books off the shelves. I've heard some good things about Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Same thing about Wither. When I saw Committed on the shelf I decided I would try it. I'm not the hugest Elizabeth Gilbert fan but I thought I would give it a try. Time of the Witches looked really good. I choose Food, Girls and Other Things I Can't Have because I rarely read YA books with male main characters (although I suppose Will Grayson, Will Grayson would count too). I've never read any of Neil Gaiman's work and I decided to remedy that with The Graveyard Book. I, Robot and The Pilot's Wife are both for the Fill In The Gaps challenge. I wanted to have 50 read off that list by the end of June and I'm failing. When I read about The Splendor Falls on About Happy Books, I immediately added it to my library queue.
What did you get this week?

  1. I thought I was the only book blogger who has not read any Gaiman. I'm going to read Neverwhere some time soon. I've heard nothing but good things about The Graveyard Book.
