Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!
Just 2 this week. Slaughter House Five is for the Fill In The Gaps challenge. I haven't been loving the classics lately but I'll give it a try. I tried to read The Last Of The Mohicans but failed after a few pages. I'll try it again later. And No Humans Involved is the next in the Women of The Otherworld series.
Last week was tough for me. I got almost no reading time in. It might have been that I couldn't get in The Last of The Mohicans or that I couldn't focus. Instead of reading I was playing Words With Friends (My user name is sillylittlelinda if you want to play). I'm feeling my reading mojo coming back though.
What did you get this week?

  1. I struggle with reading the classics and I know that illicits gasps of horror from most book lovers. I keep trying though! I have not read Slaughterhouse Five. Let me know if it's one I have to attempt!

  5. I've only read the first two books in the Kelley Armstrong series but I really enjoyed them. Hope you enjoy your loot!

  6. Vonnegut isn't a classic -- he's awesome! I hope you enjoy it. Oh, besides being hilarious, he's also really depressing, so I'm glad you have the Armstrong to counter.

  7. I've always been curious about Vonnegut's work. Looking forward to your thoughts.

I just downloaded Words with Friends and I think I started a game with you. I just searched for you and a game board popped up--so we're off! I think. LOL. My username is krauscakes.

  8. I've been meaning to read Slaughter House Five for longer than I'd like to admit.
