Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!

As you'll see I'm gearing up for my 2012 challenges: Foodies Read 2 and The War Through The Generations Challenge.
I put Kafka's Soup on my tbr after reading about it on Marg's blog. It sounded perfect for the Foodies Read 2 challenge as well as something I would really enjoy.
After reading Eva's thoughts on Eating India, I immediately added it to my tbr list. Again another one I'm reading for Foodies Read 2.
Thanks to Eva for the recommendation of A Very Long Engagement for the War Through the Generations challenge.
The Recipe Club wound up on my tbr list after reading about it on Staci's blog. I think it also sounds good for the Foodies Read Challenge.
What did you get this week?

  1. You are well prepared for the start of the year - I have a pile of challenge reads waiting too.
    Enjoy your loot!

    Happy New Year!

  2. You've read 122 books this year? Holy cow! That's impressive! It sure blows my 51 books out of the water.

Right now I have Knit the Season by Kate Jacobs and a Dr Sears book about babies and sleep. I need to start getting more books each time I go since winter weather will be arriving soon.

  3. I'm excited about the first two..I love food and reading about it too. I read and enjoyed The Recipe Club a few years ago..enjoy your loot!

  4. I want to hear about Eating India--that one sounds interesting!

  5. I remember seeing The Recipe Club around a lot. Hope you enjoy all of these foodie books!

Shiny! I love comments.
