Snacky Snack Time

As part of my eating healthier, I've been trying to find healthy snacks that I can take to work and that I'll like. If I don't like it, I can find something unhealthy to eat. So I thought I'd share my healthy snacks.

I bought a huge bag at Costco and portioned them out into smaller snack bags. I take a few to work at a time. I could eat these by the handful! I love them by themselves but I could see them in salads or oatmeal too.

Brothers All Natural Crisps

I buy these in variety packs from Costco, 2 boxes at a time. I almost cannot stop eating these. I love the Apple & Pear the best. They are crunchy which is a great replacement for chips! Plus it helps me meet my fruit goal.

Cara Cara Oranges
I'm so sad the season is ending for these beauties! So juicy and yummy. I bought a 7 pound bag at Costco and ate every single one by myself! I'll console myself with strawberries since the season is starting up! Yeah!

Greek Gods Yogurt

It seems like everyone has a favorite greek yogurt and mine is Greek Gods. When a coworker mentioned that they are a local company, I switched my allegiance to them! Besides their honey is my absolute favorite.

  1. I love Greek Gods Honey yogurt! I usually have it for breakfast with fruit and granola! So good!

  2. I just bought a pack of dried fruits from Costco. And they're pretty yummy. It has apricots, pears, apples, peaches and plums. I also like snacking on nuts and crackers. Unfortunately, I also can't do without dark chocolate, especially with hazelnuts in them!

  3. Great job changing it up! Have you noticed any difference in your energy?

    My go-to snacks are always always oranges (i can eat a 7lb bag all by myself too), apples, and grapes. I always keep a box of cereal (Life, Cheerios, even Honeycomb) to if I get really hungry and make a small bowl if I need that extra meal. Oh, last but not least, Almond Milk! Filling and YUM!!!!

  4. Now I need to get to costco so I can get those crips...sound good and I love the idea of them being crunchy and replacing that urge for potato chips.

  5. Oooooh - I love Craisins in salads, and those fruit chips are awesome!
    I like to snack on bananas (easy to throw into my purse!), and right now I'm loving low-cal/low-fat graham crackers!! They are so good! Kind of satisfy sweet tooth and the carb craving.

    I'm going to have to try that Greek yogurt, I've been hearing lots of good things about it!

  6. I love Craisins! And although it's not that healthy I've started seeing them sell chocolate covered Craisins. I haven't tried them, but I think I need to soon!

  7. I love Craisins! I eat them alone, but also in both salads and oatmeal. Those apple chips look yummy...I haven't seen them around here, but I'm going to have to look!

  8. I love snacking on nuts! Any kind, but almonds are my fave!
