Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva and Marg that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.
Another 2 books for me this week. First StyleCinic. I spotted it on the shelves and thought it might have some interesting tips. I was pretty excited to see The Newlywed Kitchen on the shelf too. I started following Lorna on Twitter and then started reading her blog. Although I have to warn you, Lorna will make you hungry so only read her blog or follow her on twitter if you want to be hungry all the time. This is the probably the first time I've gotten a cookbook from the library on Library Loot. Despite the fact I like to cook, I have few cookbooks. I can find almost every recipe I want it online. So I save shelf space for other books.
What did you get this week?

  1. The Newlywed Kitchen!
Aww... what a sweet idea for a cookbook. :)

I love to own cookbooks. At last count, I think I had 52 or so... and I love to read them. Lately, though, I have been borrowing a lot from the library. It's a great way to sample a cookbook and decide later if you really need to buy it or not.

    Enjoy! :)

  3. I LOVE cookbooks. I own literally hundreds of them and will take them to the beach and read them like novels!

  4. The Newlywed Kitchen sounds like a great gift idea. I own a ridiculous number of cookbooks so say nothing of the two 3-ring binders I've put together--one with recipes I've used and love and another with recipes I've pulled out of magazines and newspapers. But I still find myself turning to the internet a lot as well.
