Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!

Just one for me this week. I'm trying to stop requesting books from the library. It's so hard! I keep hearing about more I want to read. My tbr list is getting longer. I have plenty to read right now so hopefully I can conquer Mt Library Loot (20!) and maybe read a few of my own books before the end of summer.
I've been loving this graphic novel series.

What did you get this week?

  1. I just an alert that a cookbook called Tartine is ready at my library!

  2. I started my tbr list this past December and it's already got almost 700 books on it, not counting the 171 books I've already read this year. I don't think I'll ever get caught up lol.

  3. Good luck working through your old library loot! I'm heading off on holidays in a few weeks and am already eyeing the pile of books I have out, trying to figure out a plan of attack to get them all done before I leave.

  5. The Amulet series looks like an intriguing children's/YA graphic novel -- I think I will check it out, too! Although, like you, I am trying to refrain from hitting that request button. It's much more difficult to do than say! Good luck reading through your library loot stash.
