This is probably the last knottie roundup before the wedding (eee!). Here are some last minute ideas for me. Just regular old ideas for you though.

This week I've been going back and forth about getting a crinoline. I was supposed to pick one up over the weekend but ran out of time. I thought I'd go during the week but that's just going to be possible. So I'm going to let it go. This bride did and not wear a crinoline.

Vegas weddings have moved beyond getting married by Elvis! This lovely couple was married at Ceasars.Even though this was a destination wedding, quite a few people came. I think Vegas is a great idea because lots of people like Vegas and depending on where you live, it's not far.

Stealing More Inspiration!

Here's my monthly installment of knottie bios. Someone asked last month how I find all these bios. I know they are difficult to find. Not all knotties make them. And lots of knotties make planning bios but rarely share their married photos. I have a lot of time at work. I usually look for knottie bio over the course of the month and save them. It does take a lot of time to find them and I have nothing but time at work. Let me know if there are specific things that you are looking for. I'm happy to help!

Well of course I love this bio! She used Jayson and Dani as her photographers. But on the July 08 knottie board someone was discussing having table assignments to help people fill tables. I keep going back and forth on this. But this knotties reasoning was the best. Some people were saving seats and being aholes about letting other people sit. Our wedding won't be huge but I don't want people to not be able to sit. I guess I'm leaning toward seating assignments. These are great ideas. Might steal it.What a gorgeous venue. So lucky to get married at a castle.

Liz&Eric07Here's a fantastic idea for a guest book. Have everyone sign the jersey of your favorite player. Or get a jersey with your last name on it and have everyone sign it. I think that's what they did here. Terrific idea!They had a painter capture their first dance. Amazing!

Seriously, my favorite knottie and my favorite bee! She had the wedding I would have planned if I hadn't seen her do it so much better than I ever could. I keep trying to talk Tai into do this. First we have to get a good picture of ourselves then send it off to the caricaturist. I think we are nearing the deadline if we want to do that.
She had her engagement photos at the Seattle Public Library. Very unique. If you do check out her bio, it's some wedding photos and some planning photos. If you are using pink or going for a shabby chic feel, she'll give you a lot of inspiration.

Inspiration Stolen from Other People!

Since I have tons of free time at work, I've been looking at knot bios and saving my favorites. There are lots of knotties who's bios get much love, but there are tons that don't. I attempt to bring you those that are overlooked.

How adorable is this couple? I freaking love them.They have customized aprons for the cake cutting. I have never seen this before. What a great idea! Tai and I decided we're not doing the cake smashing (we might not have cake. Another post entirely), so we won't need these. I can see the usefulness of these though.
DoingItRightI love me a sassy bride. This was taken at her trash the dress session. She's got a bunch more in her bio if you are looking to do a trash the dress session in an urban setting.
What to do with those engagement photos? Make a collage!

I love the petal aisle and that she got married on concrete. I don't see a lot of weddings on concrete. The petals really stand out on the gray concrete. Plus I love the gazebo in the background. I bet that where most people get married. I like that she choose a little differently.

MrsPinkAJVSo lucky to have this great vintage car. It's a wonderful idea for a getaway car. I remember one wedding at a historic mansion. There were engraved invitations. The bride wore a very expensive dress. I remember the prime rib and the caviar too. At the end of the night, her and her groom got into a rented Ford Taurus and drove off. I remember thinking why didn't they get a bigger car? Why didn't they use the limo from before? The bride's dress really didn't fit in the car and the groom started shoving it so they could leave. It was pretty funny. We'd all made fun of her dress all night. It almost ate a few small children; It was so big.
Don't let this happen to you. If you are making a big getaway from the reception, find something special! Or wait to everyone's left and go home in your own car.
I love her dress! And it has cap sleeves and I normally hate cap sleeves! Perhaps it's the lace.
Well I hope you find these knottie bios useful. I enjoy seeing what other people have done. But mostly I love how happy they look. No one looks pissed off (or they don't post those in their bio). Everyone looks beautiful and happy. That makes me happy. I hope it makes you happy too.

Inspiration, baby. It comes from looking at what other people have done and tweaking it to create your own! I love Knottie Bios of the week on Weddingbee. And I of course look at hundreds of knot bios every week. So I thought I would list some of the ones I've found recently and enjoyed.

Gorgeous photos! Lots of wonderful little touches. Her wedding was in a vineyard and her and hubby took some pictures. And the bottom of her bio are some tasteful b-pic photos. If you don't want to look at a beautiful woman in her undies stop after the cake cutting shots. Here are some photos stolen shamelessly from her bio:I don't know what it is about me and guns, but I love how the guys are standing in this photo. It makes me think of an old western.
Such a great idea for place cards. Could be very easily DIY. But a very nice rustic touch.

I like the tips strewn throughout the bio. She gives you real advice on how she felt she could have improved her day. I love how her guests (particularly her mom) looked like they were having fun at the reception.The bride was a self confessed Friends fan so this was an easy shot. Also her bridal party entered the reception to the Friends theme song. Such a good idea. I wish I would have thought of it!Her and her groom took some photos at the end of the night. I can imagine that they were tired but I think they turned out very romantic and playful. I think that's a great idea.

As far as I can tell, lots of her stuff was DIY, but very elegant. Her and hubby had a day after photo shoot that produced some very unique photos. Her photographer was very artistic. I love it.After her ceremony, the bridal party headed to a bar to do shots before the ceremony. A great way to get those pictures of the bridal party without looking posed or stiff.
I like her centerpieces. Very easy to do with the varying sizes of vases. I really like the grouping.

Totally cool location with the Haystacks in the background!Umbrellas, a must at any Northwest wedding. She was smart and had golf umbrellas so more than one guest could be under it at one time. Honestly this takes time looking at what other people have done. But I got to say that I've found more inspiration looking at other knotties bios than looking in wedding magazines. I hope that I can have the kind of bio that other knotties use for inspiration.
