Top Ten Tuesday: "Older" Books You Don't Want People To Forget About

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

This week's topic is "Older" Books You Don't Want People To Forget About. With all the new releases it's sometimes easy to forget about great books that aren't so new.
I'm going to join Mary in telling people how great this book is. Such a beautiful story with wonderful characters and vivid descriptions.
For anyone who likes to cook, has to cook, wants to be a better cook or wants to stretch their food dollar farther, this is the book to read. Adler helped me get re-inspired in the kitchen. I highly suggest her book to any cook.
A wonderful story of two friends over the years. Great recipes sprinkled through the book too.
Another great story about friendship. Such a beautiful story!
Another wonderful vivid story. I loved seeing things through Vinnie's eyes.
I loved this story about two young women falling in love.
One of my favorite books. A beautifully told story about a young man that meets and falls in love with a transgendered woman. I think everyone should read it.
Another great book that I think more people should read. I couldn't put it down!
A fantastic graphic novel. Another one I think a lot of people should read.
A wonderful story about a small town and a decades old mystery.

  1. Wow, I haven't read a single book on this list (or heard of most of them, honestly), but I definitely want to add some of them to my TBR list!

  2. I definitely second your inclusion of Annie On My Mind...it's a classic. Going to have to look into The Splendor Falls, it sounds really interesting.

  6. Hmm, I haven't read any of these books. The covers make them sound intriguing though. Thanks for introducing me to some older new books (new to me anyways).

Thanks for visiting my Top Ten.
