Currently....

using
I finally decided to join twitter. I'm really not sure how useful it will be but I wanted to see what all the fuss was. Plus I'm looking at adding a social media bent to my work so I think this will help. If you are on twitter, feel free to add me.

eating
Those are Rainer cherries. I bought a 15lb box of them last weekend. I really love cherries but by midweek they started to head south. I quickly pitted and froze what was left. I'm thinking cherry pie and cherry turnovers.

reading
I finished Pretty in Plaid by Jen Lancaster this week. This was the first one of her books I've read. Maybe I was expecting more, but I was left kind of meh. I liked her humor but I didn't always find it funny. Maybe hit too close to home? I don't know. I won't be lining up to get her other books. Other reviews can be found at Bookopolis, Bella's Bold, Brillant Blog, and S. Krishna's Books

  1. As best as I can tell, for the average person, there is no real use for twitter. I don't mean that to sound harsh, just that I have Facebook status updates and a blog. What more do my friends need? But it sure is fun! :)

I think you should definitely make a pie!

  2. Pretty in Plaid was not her best book. I loved Biter is the New Black & Bright Lights Big --- but while funny felt like it lacked the thing that grabbed me in the other 2. I definitely recommend Bitter as her best if you do decide to read her again.

  4. Yummy.... cherry pie.... yummy....

If I get one of those new smartphones, I might join Twitter - but as of right now it'd be one more thing to keep up with. Chris is on it, but he's all political. So, unless you like Hannity and Rush, his tweets are probably not for you....
But let us know how you like it!

  5. Welcome to Twitter! I am following you now. I really need to remember to send more tweets.

Thanks for the review on Pretty in Plaid. I got it for my birthday and I'm interested to see how I am going to like it.
